So, tonsils came out on Thursday. No complications, was only unconcious for about an hour. Discharged Friday. Recovering slowly. Lots of codeine and paracetemol.

To all those who are going, please have a drink for me.
I wont be there :( I will be in hosptial on the thursday night, and then under 24 hour watch until the saturday. I am then banned from being in pubs, supermarkets, and large groups of people for two weeks.

I am doing all this in the hope of never having tonsilitus ever again.
So, for once, I wont be plaguebearing during febmeet, I just wont be there :(

So, I've finally got myself an account. Under my real name if anyone is interested.
Not entirely convinced about it all, I've found several glaring inaccuracies and I've been on for less than an hour. Also can't help but think its a perfect way to stalk people and to encourage stalking.
It would be a perfect place for me to stalk, if it wasn't for the fact that farm labourers who have been dead for 200 years tend not to have facebook entries. *wanders round for a bit* looks like someone has already formed a group for people with my surname!

So, back to work tomorrrow after a week off. I'm feeling a lot more human, although I have a bad headache I can't shift.
So, I'm a week behind on my evil plan to return to work and take over the world.

I'm currently catching up on my paperwork and filing. My living room is full of piles of paper. But at least they are organised piles:P

Am hoping to go back to work tomorrow.
Had a bath this afternoon, and trecked out to sainsburys this evening (out of painkillers and milk). Am still running a temperature.
Flu is evil. Although I have spent most of my time asleep which is good.

I blame Jack, he arrived with it on Friday. However I was already exibiting symptoms by then. Sympathetic flu bugs? He and I are both at the same stage of the flu.
Unfortunately, me being me, means that the flu also comes with paranoia, depression, hallucinations, and a touch of psychosis. Have spent most of the day in bed, asleep, or on the sofa asleep (change of scenery). Have also found I'm not very good being upright for any length of time.
Consuming lots of fluids and painkillers. Getting lots of sleep. Am fighting the paranoia with the knowledge that I always get paranoid when my temperature goes up, and so that there probably isn't anyone else in the house (didn't have the energy to go and check either :P).

Meh.
